Welcome to My Site

I am available for select consulting engagements within a reasonable drive of Northeastern PA. This would include Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Binghamton, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, Northern VA, and NYC. (I won't get involved with anything requiring air travel.) I may consider permanent positions in Scranton, Binghamton, Wilkes-Barre, etc. Please inquire.

I've been working with computers since the punchcard days, but have kept current with most modern tools and technologies, including UML, Dot.Net™, SQL Server, Windows Server 2003, and so forth.

I have worked for some of the largest companies (Digital Equipment Corporation, AT&T), as well as small start-ups, and am comfortable in either environment.

If you need some long- or short-term contract coding, web development, network setup and configuration, database design, object modeling, etc., I can definitely help you out. I also have experience integrating Linux and Windows systems using Samba.

I am also well versed in ISO-9000, SEI-CMM, RUP, and other process improvement and methodological areas. I am firmly convinced that a well-defined development process is key to delivering stable projects in a predictable and controllable manner. This includes configuration control, release management, object modeling, and so forth. If this is your interest, I can definitely assist you.
